Anti-Choice Love

So, lately I've been rereading a lot of the anti-choice comments I've been getting on my blog.

"you are totally Cuckoo."

"If you have any love for any women other than the one in the mirror, I have yet to see it. It's painfully obvious you hate that one, too. Enjoy your bitterness and anger. At the end of your life, it's all you'll have left."

"Women like you make the rest of us look like fools. If that's feminism, please keep it to yourself. And if you were truly a rape victim" (emphasis mine)

"You'll make a great abortionist. Unfeeling to the last, except when it comes to number one."
*side note- Why, thank you for telling me that I'll make a great doctor.

"you are deranged and dangerous."

"you are just as predatory as those you claim to despise."

"I really believe the only way you could ever live with yourself is to tell yourself that you are helping us."

"You are pathetic and I'm not wasting another minute on you. Hater."
"You don't speak for all women, and you sure as hell don't speak for this one, predator."

"But I'd bet everything I own that no one lost a life when your (wisdom) teeth were pulled. Too bad the wisdom was taken along with the teeth."

"Proud ProLife Feminist Mother puking in mouth with the thought of Not Guilty coming in contact with anyone's daughter."

Always remember: If an anti-choicer is pissed off at you, starts calling you names, and starts assuming things about your life, you've probably been doing something right.

  1. Put all of just your posts together to show where the hate comes from. I've been on other sites reading what you say. Most of these people you quote are Turning your statements back on you. Nice try though.

I'll add another word to what you are: Hypocrite.

  2. "If an anti-choicer is pissed off at you, starts calling you names, and starts assuming things about your life, you've probably been doing something right"

Notice your own wording -- specifically the word PROBABLY. You are not even secure with your own thinking 100%.

Abortion is the intentional murdering of my fellow male and female humans. I take flack for stating this from pro-aborts all the time. Why? You already admit it is the killing of someone so why should pro-aborts give any of us flack rather than support? You and I believe the SAME THING. The only difference is that I believe killing innocent humans is wrong and you don't.

    ReplyDelete
  3. No. The difference is that I think women should have basic human rights.

    ReplyDelete
  4. The most basic of rights is the Right to Life.

All men and women are CREATED equal. It does not say all are BORN equal.

Human rights will not matter one iota if you kill me before I am born. You've even said the unborn are humans. So you need to change your statement to reflect what you yourself have said.

According to many statements you yourself have said, your statement needs to reflect your true beliefs, that being: The difference is that I think BORN females should have basic human rights.

What you say and what you do and how you think combine to make up who you are.

  5. The title of this post is "Anti-choice Love"

Yes, I am against your choice to kill other humans. Yes, this is an example of my love for you. Even when you are wrong and sinful, I still love you. I love you as much as I love the unborn. Being against your choice to become an abortionist is how much I love you.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Abortion isn't murder. When will antis understand this?

Anonymous #2, the Declaration of Independence is not a fact of life, it's a letter. Why are you pretending it's like the Word of God? (Interesting to note, the author didn't support equal rights for women or African Americans, even though he wrote that. Only white, property owning males. Do you hold the same belief?)

ProChoiceGal- I have a similar list on my blog. Antis call us names, tell us we are murderers, and then claim that we are attacking *them* when we ask them to respect women and support equal rights. It makes absolutely no sense to me.

But hey, if they're upset it means there is a chance that they are actually reading what you wrote (instead of seeing something which isn't there). Plant the seed to change their hearts.

    ReplyDelete
  7. So you believe in human rights for fetuses, but not for those who are born. Thank you for clarifying.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Reema - what do you think about people who love you (as a human being) and overlook disagreements they might have with your current ideas?

It's also a choice to love someone, even when they say painful things, whether they believe in life begins at conception, or some other point in time.

I've found many on both sides of this debate who've pounded on the other side expecting them to change, but never really taking the time to know them as human beings.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Chris- I think that's great. I actually have an anti-choice friend who I love very much, even though our clash in values can cause frustration.

However, I don't believe a person who bashes me and then claims to love me.

  10. Still working on it Reema.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

The unborn do not hate you. They are not your enemy. I do not hate you. I am not your enemy. Because we disagree does not mean I hate you. I have said terrible things that I later regret to Loved Ones. This does not mean I hate them. This means I am a sinner and need to work on this.

I am a huge sinner. I am a Female Human Being. My name is Barbara. I live in Wisconsin. I am Pro-Human Rights. Starting with the Right we were all once given. The Right to Live starting at Conception.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I am pro-human rights, too. Except I believe in human rights for everyone, not just fetuses. Women deserve human rights.

    ReplyDelete
  13. One of our most basic human rights is that of bodily autonomy.

Since I don't see forced pregnancy as being any different than forced organ donation, abortion rights become a women's rights issue to me.

As long as men have the right to refuse to donate an organ or blood to someone who is dying, women should have the right to end a pregnancy.

Anything less turns women into second class citizens.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I am for all human rights, including fetuses because they are human also. Yes, women deserve human rights but you are not for womens rights until you love us as unborn human fetuses in addition to loving us in our baby, toddler, child, adult, elderly stages. I notice the only ones you claim to love are those who support abortion. The rest of us our wrong and against women's rights.

My son is sitting here with me reading through this and told me to quit talking with you. I asked if I could quote what he is saying and he's agreed.

He said, "They just want to rip on your opinions and that is why they are posting this in the first place. They are blogging just to argue with people and don't technically want to listen to your points. They should go play a video game if they like fighting. You won't change them. That's not how it goes, Mom."

Out of the mouths of babes. 13 years ago, a doctor recommended I abort this child because a large cyst was growing along side him and they had a hard time finding his heartbeat. Medical personal wanted to check the tumor for cancer and the only way to do this was to abort. I took my chances. My life did not trump his then and will never trump his.

  15. If you're for human rights, then why are you trying to take away women's liberty? Even if a fetus has the right to life, that right to life doesn't strip away women's rights.

Yes. I started a blog just to rip on YOU. Oddly enough, I can't find any posts where I'm "ripping" on anyone. Just telling the truth.

  17. Hi James.

I'm not going to stop blogging just because people on the anti-choice side don't like it. Us pro-choicers can't be silent, because if we are, then we let the anti-choicers win. We can't let that happen. I'm curious, do you think that anti-choice bloggers blog just to cause tension?

As for playing video games, no thanks, I'm not really into it.

  18. PCG - If you believed in human rights for fetuses, you would not be proabortion. Women have basic human rights, fetuses should be granted personhood so they can have basic human rights too...the basic right to live. With Roe, women were given the legal right to kill, and in doing that fetuses lost their basic human right to live.

VOD - "As long as men have the right to refuse to donate an organ or blood to someone who is dying, women should have the right to end a pregnancy."

Men and women cannot be fairly compared in that respect, because God made us different. Women also refuse to donate organs and blood.. In ending a pregnancy, a human is killed. Prochoice women kill their babies, or at least advocate others to do so. Women are nurturers by nature, and should protect the unborn just like they do their born children.

    ReplyDelete
  19. As I said before, even if a fetus had the right to life (I never said that it should), that right shouldn't take away women's rights.

    ReplyDelete
  20. The point is that the right to life doesn't trump the right to bodily autonomy.

In both ending a pregnancy and refusing to donate an organ, someone dies based on the choice of another individual.

I see no difference between the two and taking away that choice in the one situation where only women are affected is not equality.

    ReplyDelete
  21. PCG - Yeah you did say that "I am pro-human rights, too. Except I believe in human rights for everyone, not just fetuses."

VOD - 'bodily autonomy' is a term made up and used by prochoice. Google it and see for yourself. The fact is, men and women are different, and for that reason will never be equal. Now should we be treated as equals regarding voting, pay, etc.? Absolutely! And that's where the focus needs to be. Prochoice sacrifices babies for their cause, and it needs to stop!

    ReplyDelete
  22. I sure wouldn't want to be around a person who doesn't believe in bodily autonomy. Take away bodily autonomy, and you make rape okay, too.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I can't find anything on the origin of the term bodily autonomy but I've heard it used in various ways, not just about abortion.

But you're perhaps right that I should stick to the terms personal autonomy or liberty granted by the 14th amendment. For me, using bodily autonomy is just a more specific version of these.

But the terminology doesn't change the argument. Men and women should be completely equal under the law, not only in certain areas.

    ReplyDelete
  24. PCG - You know better.. rape is never ok! Rape is a sexual act, and not to be compared with an innocent fetus using the only resources available so it can live, it's mother. Oh, but it's all about the woman's bodily autonomy right? It's not just YOUR body involved in a pregnancy, or during an abortion... fetuses bodies are dismembered during abortion.. What about THEIR bodily autonomy? Abortion shows no respect for that!

VOD - First on the list in a google search for 'bodily autonomy' is Prochoice.. As for the 14th amendment...Most prochoices and progressives believe it's their right to take MY property and use it to take the life of an unborn child..is that liberty? I somehow don't think that's what they had in mind when they wrote that.

    ReplyDelete
  25. If bodily autonomy doesn't exist, then why is rape a bad thing?

If I defend myself from rape by using force, it's not just my body involved. A rapist's body is involved, too. However, I still have the right to use force if it means defending my own bodily autonomy and liberty. Rapists have liberty and bodily autonomy, but it doesn't override other people's liberty and bodily autonomy.

  27. It's funny. This is PCG's personal blog- her personal space to show her opinion. Antis are coming here, PURPOSEFULLY going out of their way to comment on HER blog, and yet they claim that PCG is the one here to antagonize people?

    Give me a break.

I can remove ANYONE who is using my body against my will, by whatever means necessary. Fetus, toddler, teenager, grown man. Age, size, reason, doesn't matter. If I do not want you on my body, you will be removed.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Do you know how a fetus gets in your body CP. Except in cases of rape, by your own actions you allow the fetus in!

"Antis are coming here, PURPOSEFULLY going out of their way to comment on HER blog"

Why doesn't she stop allowing it if she doesn't like it? She has a choice to say no. She allows it and you still want to make her out to be the victim. Just like your views on abortion. You try to make the perp into the victim and then are pissed when people can see you for what you are.

Justsnap8, These women have been so abused by those more powerful that they in turn have the need to abuse other humans who can't hurt them back. It's the Might Makes Right mentality and is very frightening. CP's last paragraph is a textbook example of this syndrome.

  31. But PC never writes a thing on other people's blogs, does she, liar? I guess those quotes from Jill Stanek's blog just materialized out of thin air, kind of like babies in your fantasy world. I have read her crap on more than one blog. She goes to others in a very obvious attempt to get them to read this shit, just like you do, KC. She's phishing for readers by, just like you. Now that a few people have showed up, she's pissed and wants to abort us. Too bad. Half the people commenting here are people she has insulted on prolife blogs. If we weren't getting to her and you, you wouldn't even mention us, let alone write blog posts and entire Twitter streams devoted to putting us down. Since you have no actual justification for abortion and absolutely no biblical leg to stand on, put downs are all that's left to you. Would hope an actual Christian would have something better to do than promote death on Easter weekend, but you're not an actual Christian, so this is just another killing Saturday at the mills for you, the only thing you truly celebrate. You still haven't answered the question asked numerous times-how do you assume God is served by your killing the unborn? Or will you once again avoid answering because you know you can't? Be specific. Describe how you presume God will smile when you kill your unborn baby. This I've got to hear.

  32. You're so "loving", anonymous.

I think Christian Prochoice's point was that, even though I do post on other people's blog, I don't go and create tension there and accuse the blog writer of creating that tension. Not that you're not welcome here. Come as long as you like, maybe you'll learn a thing or two ;).

    ReplyDelete
  33. Of course you do-it's obvious to anyone with eyes. Even you can't be stupid enough to deny the hurt you caused in the rape victim who's response I posted above last night. I'm sure you and your little posse here are loving it every time an anti shows up here. The only reason I showed up here at all was the outrage you purposely stirred on Jill Stanek's blog. I had to see for myself how someone claiming to be a rape victim could be that hateful to others who have endured rape, and I did see it, and still am. Enjoy your clique. Maybe it will fill that empty hole where your heart used to be. I won't be holding my breath for the Christian justification of abortion, either. She'll keep deflecting and avoiding the questions, just like you. Happy Easter. You may have slaughtered over 50 million unborn babies, but you couldn't kill Christ.

Kids usually know more then we adults!

These whiny choicers are even competing with each other for visitors! Let's leave the 4-5 Mean girls to promote killing alone amongst themselves. They like the attention Waaaaay too much. I'm going to try a video game. Who knows, I might like it!

  43. Please enlighten me, pro lifers, and without any biblical references please.

Why do some of you believe so strongly in scientific proof when it comes to feelings and viability of fetuses, but require no proof to believe in a god?

Would you pro lifers want to keep a woman from aborting a fetus if you knew it would grow up to be a murderer, satanist, or homosexual?

If you believe that abortion is murder and try to outlaw it, why do you not try to outlaw other things that murder, like cigarettes or alcohol? And why stop there? Why not try to outlaw slippery showers, or driving in the snow, or driving at all?

Many pro lifers are republican/conservative. Why do some want every pregnant woman to carry full term if you (typical republicans) despise paying for the healthcare that woman and baby may need?

I'm very curious about what and how pro lifers think. Thank you for your help.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Brenda, a couple of anti-choice organizations came to mind when you mentioned opposition to healthcare: Focus on the Family and American Life League. They both opposed healthcare reform. At healthcare reform protests, the American Life League handed out signs that said "Bury Obamacare with Ted Kennedy," with their little white fetus logo in the corner. Shows how much they care about people, doesn't it? So it's not just the political parties that individual anti-choicers belong to that are against providing basic public services to the people. It's the anti-choice organizations themselves.

  45. Anonymous at 8:33-

I'm not sure why you think PCG doesn't want you commenting. I never claimed that she didn't want you commenting. I was talking about antis pretending that this blog is here to antagonize them, when they are the ones searching her out in her own 'home' so to say.

As for how a fetus enters the body- it doesn't. It appears in the body. Unless, of course, you think sperm is the same thing as a fetus? Last I checked antis were claiming it is conception when a "new, unique human being" is created, not when the sperm is created in the testicles.

Lastly, again we see that antis make up assumptions about the lives of prochoicers. Why is that?

    Anonymous at 8:59:

I was only speaking about the writings here on this blog. My apologies if you thought I meant anytime PCG posts anywhere on the internet.

As for "getting to me," yes, you've gotten to me. Your rude language makes me disgusted. Being called a liar, a babykiller, abused and not a real Christian upsets me. But if there is one thing your behavior and language has not done, is that it has not made me want to be antichoice.

As for the question "How is God served by you killing the unborn?" I have not heard this before (or at least, I don't remember). My answer is that I don't kill unborn.

Lastly, if someone knows about abuse I suffered, please tell me when, where and by whom, so that I may report it to the police. Because I sure don't remember it.

    ReplyDelete
  46. "Why do some of you believe so strongly in scientific proof when it comes to feelings and viability of fetuses, but require no proof to believe in a god?"

Quite presumptous to claim to speak for religious folks, are you not?

Believing in God also in itself does not involve murdering. In dealing with whether or not a fetus is human involves a life or death situation at the moment, in ways just believing in God in of itself does not.

"Would you pro lifers want to keep a woman from aborting a fetus if you knew it would grow up to be a murderer, satanist, or homosexual?"

Still yes, since if we advocate a murdering a person at the time is innocent, we are no better than of the above.

"If you believe that abortion is murder and try to outlaw it, why do you not try to outlaw other things that murder, like cigarettes or alcohol?"

By your logic, then we must allow murder in other forms like serial killings of women by men because to object to that but allow cigarettes and alcohol according to you make us hypocrites.

We object to abortion for same reasons we would object to genoicide, infanticide after birth, serial killings, etc., not to mention for similar reasons, we object to spousal and child abuse, assault and battery, etc.

Cigarettes and alcohol do not murder. Alcohol taken in moderation is actually healthy.

People murder people. Not drugs that can be bad for you.

"And why stop there? Why not try to outlaw slippery showers, or driving in the snow, or driving at all?"

If we take your logic and accept it, then by that logic, we cannot even oppose the Holocaust should it ever happen again, and we should not oppose serial killings since after all if we believe those are murders and we believe they must be banned, then we must also according to you call for bans of cigarettes and alcohol and other things you listed.

Equivacating without being rational does not make your point.

"Many pro lifers are republican/conservative. Why do some want every pregnant woman to carry full term if you (typical republicans) despise paying for the healthcare that woman and baby may need?"

That's not the part I personally despise. I despise being forced to have health insurance I cannot afford lest I be fined. I despise government takeover since government has a sad habit of ruining programs it touched and lives those programs are supposed to help, more than the government help.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Oh! And one more question, without the biblical stuff, please?

Why is human life so important and worth saving, and not any other animals life? Why not become vegan and do every conceivable thing to avoid the killing of animals if life is so important to pro lifers? Why not save every tree from being cut and every spider from being squished?

    ReplyDelete
  48. "Why is human life so important and worth saving, and not any other animals life? Why not become vegan and do every conceivable thing to avoid the killing of animals if life is so important to pro lifers? Why not save every tree from being cut and every spider from being squished?"

We are prolifers in regards to fellow human beings.

You asked us to answer but then demand we leave out the biblical stuff.

If someday, the government decides females are less worthy of life than males, and pro-lifers take up the cause of right of females to life, would you still be arguing like this?

Pro-lifers are the ones fighting for the rights of females to be born against families who choose to get rid of them via abortions, in countries where females are less valued than males.

    ReplyDelete
  49. One more time asking, KC, since you keep evading and insulting instead of answering the question directly. Why do you assume God is smiling when a woman aborts? You are the one who claimed above that God is prochoice and proabortion. Let's hear why. Use examples. Be specific. If you can't answer, at least have the guts to admit you're lying. I believe there was a commandment against that, too?

No, I have not claimed that God is proabortion. I do think I said Jesus is prochoice and prolife, but that was not on this blog (unless someone quoted me). I believe Jesus is prochoice because God gave us free will, and I see nothing in the Bible to suggest that abortion is a sin.

  52. Wow, I left for a few hours to watch Dr Who (awesome BTW!) and things blew up! I see that the discussion has turned to religion and God which is not an area I'll comment on since I don't believe that God or religion have a place in creating our laws.

I don't want to derail the current conversation but I did want to address the earlier comments directed at me. Apologies for being late to the show :)

"VOD - First on the list in a google search for 'bodily autonomy' is Prochoice.. "

The first result in a search for bodily autonomy is the prochoice wiki entry because it uses the term. It says nothing about the origins of the term. I've done quite a bit of searching and can't find the origin anywhere. But I do see it used in a variety of instances having to do with personal body rights from rape to abortion to circumcision.

"As for the 14th amendment...Most prochoices and progressives believe it's their right to take MY property and use it to take the life of an unborn child..is that liberty? I somehow don't think that's what they had in mind when they wrote that."

If here you mean your tax dollars being used to fund abortions, the taxes you pay to the government aren't your property anymore. We don't get a say in where out tax dollars go and many of us disagree with certain areas of funding. If you don't believe that the government should pay for any kind of healthcare that's another discussion that has nothing to do with abortion. But as long as abortion is a legal medical procedure, it should be treated just like any other legal medical procedure.

I'm still waiting on an explanation as to why forced pregnancy should be treated differently than forced organ donation. In both instances you would be forcing a person to undergo an unwanted medical procedure for the life of another.

  54. "I'm still waiting on an explanation as to why forced pregnancy should be treated differently than forced organ donation. In both instances you would be forcing a person to undergo an unwanted medical procedure for the life of another."

It's not forced pregnancy if the woman chooses to have sex in the first place. She and the guy did it knowing full well pregnancy could come. It's her- and the guy's choice- there to be put in that situation.

The difference is that an unborn baby is not merely a lump of organ.

You are no different than sexist guys who treat women like lump of tissues.

No wonder some of the original feminists state that is degrading for women to abort their kids because it is treating their kids like properties the way men did to women at the time.

Those feminists would be ashamed of you- given they see your types (who they saw as treating children like property to point of killing them before birth) in the same light as they saw men who oppressed women and used them as properties.

You object than to the Declaration of Independence which has the right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness as rooted in our Creator and His law.

  57. VOD - Anonymous at 8:08 answered the question perfectly. Organ donation does not involve ending the life of a human. Rather, it is meant to save the life of the recipient. Abortion ends the life of a human, period.

Maybe we could re-label women who think like PCG, Sexist Feminists.

  59. Just finished reading all of this.

PCG said, "Except I believe in human rights for everyone, not just fetuses" even though later she said "As I said before, even if a fetus had the right to life (I never said that it should), that right shouldn't take away women's rights.

Unconscientiously even the most fanatical pro-aborts know that abortion is the murder of innocent human beings.

  61. Every single one of my posts turns into an abortion debate, related or not. It doesn't bother me that much, but I'm going to stop feeding the fire. Have a happy Easter, everyone!

  62. What is it then, KC? Killing for the Kingdom? Are you going to answer the question? Why would Jesus approve of abortion?

  63. CP keeps saying that abortion is not murder. Because she claims that she is a Christian, she falls on the old "abortion isn't mentioned in the bible" so therefore God must be in favor of abortion.

According to CPs own logic, since the word abortion is not mentioned in the bible she cannot know that God is pro-abortion either.

According to the bible, we do know God commanded us not to kill each other. Abortion is killing another human so maybe CP will understand this if we stop using the word 'murder'.

CP Abortion is Killing another human being. This I understand because He told us so.

PCG - Nice to hear you are at the end of your rope and can no longer come up with any arguments that make the least bit of sense. We have gotten to see your anger and bitterness come to the surface and that's proof enough to me that abortion needs to be outlawed.

  64. The word rapture isn't in the bible either. Doesn't mean it's not mentioned. There are scriptures that deal with child sacrifice and how God views it. Funnily enough, those never get mentioned. BY prochoice logic, abortion is just a choice. So, going by their logic, if my neighbor is abusing his kid to the point of death, it's none of my business and I should just let the kid die because the parent chose to abuse him or her. It's also a choice when someone attacks someone else for being gay,or of another race, or about to be raped, but according to the samaritans here, we should just stay out of it. (who is pro-rape now?) What did Jesus have to say about the man beaten and left beside the road to die, and what did he say about the man who stopped and helped? The answer is clear. Who is your neighbor, KC?

  66. "Always remember: If an anti-choicer is pissed off at you, starts calling you names, and starts assuming things about your life, you've probably been doing something right."

I will try to be as gentle as I can be, in responding, since you got enough flack from the other anon posters (look plentiful) for this entry and other blog entries all over the place.

The problem with you saying that is you are blatantly guilty of calling people names and assuming false motives like pro-rape they don't have.

So does that mean by your logic, those who disagree with you are doing something right?

Just remember one thing- you did iniate the namecallings, the attacks, the false accusations impugning motives of others, etc.

I am not even mad at you, at least not anymore. Sad for you actually, not just for how atrocious I think your rhetoric are, but all that happened to you, that you told us.

I will give you this- you are a fighter inside.

Good for you (though wrong cause to fight for)!

    Stay strong, PCG.

    Signed, with concern,

    Punisher

  67. I agree Punisher.

PCG, you are a fighter by nature and because of terrible circumstances of your life. The good you could do working with rape victims alone would be awesome because you are a survivor. Dealing with your feelings surrounding the rape is the first step. Going a step further in your thinking in order that you would never revictimize the victims in spite of their view on aborttion.

Just other things to think about.

Q: Why do some of you believe so strongly in scientific proof when it comes to feelings and viability of fetuses, but require no proof to believe in a god?
    -----
Your question falsely presupposes believers require no proof of God. But we see evidence all around us in a creation finely tuned to sustain human life. Additionally, there is historical evidence, including Ancient Jewish and New Testament accounts. Serious scholars who investigate the archeological and textual evidence do not dismiss it, unless they have presuppositions (the answer already in mind). Lastly, the most credible evidence of the living God is in lives he changes. My wife lost eyesight in one eye - the doctor was out of options, yet when she turned to God, her sight was miraculously restored - without the doctor's work. Many personal witnesses and experiences go way beyond the natural. Believe what you want.

Q:Would you pro lifers want to keep a woman from aborting a fetus if you knew it would grow up to be a murderer, satanist, or homosexual?

Let's ask a similar question - what if I knew you were going to kill my son in future - would it be okay to kill you now? The answer would be no. It's funny you want to presuppose an absolute here (re: an outcome), while avoiding an absolute in your prior question. In this instance you avoid the possibility people can change, while in the prior instance, you avoid the possibility you can change.

Q: If you believe that abortion is murder and try to outlaw it, why do you not try to outlaw other things that murder, like cigarettes or alcohol? And why stop there? Why not try to outlaw slippery showers, or driving in the snow, or driving at all?

A: Cigarettes murder? How? That's an invalid statement - murder must have motive. Murder is intentional killing with death as a desired outcome. Suicide is self-murder, with perpetrator & victim the same person. In the case of elective abortion (where a choice is actually made), the intended victim is the child. The mother consents to, and the abortionist destroys the child (in the embryonic or fetal stage of development). There is motive for the child's death. However, the mother's motive is unlike the abortionists - she has a conflict of interest in getting pregnant (accidental) while the abortionist wants many accidental pregnancies to occur - providing ever increasing income.

Q: Many pro lifers are republican/conservative. Why do some want every pregnant woman to carry full term if you (typical republicans) despise paying for the healthcare that woman and baby may need?

W: Where's the penis? Wasn't mine. Responsibility and accountability for our actions is necessary for a civil society. Sexual intercourse is serious business, despite what most think - and to make that point, pregancy by rape is a repercussion you'll easily discuss - right? I don't want to pay for another guy's orgasm. I don't want to pay for her failure to pre-screen this guy and get a full-fledged comittment from him (marriage) prior to his inseminating her. I don't want to pay for her going to an abortionist to have her child killed. I don't want to subsidize the development of that child which is the responsibility of those two parents.

I pay for his orgasm - it turns her into a prostitute.
I pay for her failure to get him to commit - makes me her pseudo-spouse.
I pay for an abortion - makes me an accomplice to murder, and subsidizes the abortionist.
I pay for child development - and now I'm a parent without full parental privileges or control.

I don't consent to any of that, and forcing me to is tantamount to rape, because ultimately it controls my body and what I must do to to pay for such things.

However, if a woman does not abort, and a man steps up to raise his child, then that's the way it's supposed to be.
